Flying Start: More than 100 Registered!

"There must be something in the water." We're off to our fastest start in sign-up activity ever, far outpacing sign-ups from last year. We've just updated our Game Sign-ups and Attendee Page. One of the key indicators — in the first month of registration, we have 17 first-time attendees already registered to attend, which is nearly 20% of all who have registered thus far! This is very exciting news and we can expect an incredible turnout this year as we come together to celebrate the hobby.

Special Guest: Marco Arnaudo

We are pleased to announce that Marco Arnaudo will be one of our Special Guests at CSW Expo 2012.

As many of you may already be aware, Marco has set the hobby on fire with his outstanding and always-entertaining game review videos. Marco has made an important contribution to help support and evangelize our hobby, so we look forward to celebrating him and his many outstanding contributions amongst our gaming community at the Expo.

Marco Arnaudo was born in Italy in 1976. He graduated (BA) from the University of Pisa in 2000, and earned his PhD from both the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa (2004) and Harvard University (2006). He is currently Associate Professor of Italian and Director of Graduate Studies in Italian at the Dept. of French and Italian of Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.

We've just posted our Attendees page including those who have already registered. We're excited to see that we already have eight(8) newcomers signed up to attend their first expo event! We're off again to a great start and definitely expect to break the 200+ attendee mark again (and we see quite a few names of folks who haven't registered yet that we know will be attending).

Game Sign-ups page is coming next! This is just a quick reminder to everyone that you will want to register and pay for your Full Expo Pass ($100) no later than January 31 to get your FREE expo t-shirt (valued at $15). So please don't forget to sign-up to take advantage of this special offer before it expires!

Thanks to those who already jumped on board and registered. We have 33 registrants so far which is right on track with expectations. Keep in mind that the free tshirt offer expires end of this month, so register today!

Congrats to Ellis Simpson for being the first to register! He will get recognized with a special door prize at our event. We will initial registrations and sign-ups posted next week, so stay tuned!

We are excited to announce that online registration for CSW Expo 2012 is NOW OPEN!

We will be sure to update the Attendees and Game Sign-ups page in a few days as we wish to allow time to process the initial registrations. We will also list our Special Events by end of January as many are planned. As a reminder, those who register (and pay) on or before January 31, 2012 for the Full Expo Pass ($100) will automatically receive their Expo 2012 t-shirt for FREE (value of $15).

We can't wait for this, our 12th Annual Event, and we sure hope you will make plans to join us!

Gearing up for Expo 2012

As is customary, we are now starting to gear up for CSW Expo 2012. Expect to see the web site updated and good to go sometime next week to accept online registrations. We look forward to seeing you there, and with our later start date (June 25), we hope we can pull in a few folks who could not attend in past years due to school or graduation conflicts!
